  1. ordering a new clutch but which 1...
i know they come in different sizes so do i measure the old friction plate or across the pressure plate.
the flywheel is out of an as code engine but the crank out of an aj code i think. just having a brainless day today.....

  2. Measure the width of the contact area on the pressure plate (which should be the same as the friction plate). An AS would've had a 215mm clutch to handle all that raw power ;)...

If it has M7 bolts (11mm heads) for fixing rather than M8 bolts with 13mm heads it will be a 215mm clutch.

  4. sorry don't know what size bolts but they look like torx/ spline bolts. measured the pressure plate and that was 215 but the friction plate was slightly smaller which I thought they should be the same. I managed to google a part no from the plate and it said 215 aswell so I have ordered a complete kit so it can all be changed.
