On returning from our trip my first job is clutch adjustment. Gonna fit some washers as @zed,@BayWatcher said. Can someone confirm I fitted bowden correctly the fit onto chassis didnt look right. As the tube didnt fit inside existing hole on chassis.
Chassis to Bowden Bowden to gearbox bracket. This is where washer can go. Remove Bowden put washers on and put plastic end back into bracket
If you are missing the plastic ends then the tube is too short hence the apparent need for washers. New tube = no washers needed and prevent cable from fraying. http://www.coolairvw.co.uk/Item/Sho...-CB-_-_1971-74_-_T1_-P-_T2_-OB-68-79-CB-.html
I bought this kit years ago and fitted it last year, absolutely perfect Bowden tube with metal ends on http://www.justkampers.com/vw-t2-ba...tch-cable-bundle-kit-vw-t2-bay-1971-1979.html
