Closing the sliding door from the inside...is there a trick?

  1. Checking there is grease gives no solution to your problem, indeed mine worked better when I cleaned it all off as stated above. Ensure all the grease and hardened crud are removed from the middle rear mechanism and the front bottom roller mechanism and in doing this you will be able to see any items which are worn or damaged. Occasionally even a door that works well may exhibit the symptoms you describe but only occasionally.
     
  2. @wizrod the bit where the "claw" is needs removing and cleaning and re greasing

    To pull the front in a bit you can adjust the top roller.
