City Water

  1. Can anyone with a Deluxe Westy explain the City Water inlet?

Do it use its own pump to suck in water from a water container, or is it for connecting straight to a tap?

Do I need a "special" hose?

  2. City water is, you plug it in to a tap and it goes direct to the tap in your westy, I think there is a separate switch for the city water side.

Special hose, dunno, what ever fits to be honest.

I binned all mine and just carry a 5litre can, cupboard space is a premium you'll never use it.....

  4. Westfalias bound for the Indian subcontinent also had a "Sh*tty Water" inlet...

  5. Horses for courses, as you know I still have mine fitted and use it.

You do carry a massive amount of stuff with you though.

His house is in his van when he goes away. Don't knock it, I never want for anything when I camp with him.
