hahaha, locked away at work in alarmed and gated compound......

  8. As I have powder coat chrome bars for my bus I'm thinking of trying the same on the bumpers. The bars look really good, and got to last longer than chrome at a fraction of the cost of stainless

  9. Have to say that says it all, no warranty on these parts .

Only prob with buying a bus with the original ones on is that they seem to always come in dodgy colours. ;)

  12. We have stainless on our bus , they look nice , but are they really worth the £795 that the PO paid for them ?

  13. I've got a pair of cheap ones (they were on sale!) and I agree with all, they are okay for 6 months then, if you like the rat look don't polish them!!

Would love stainless but what a price, you could get a new engine for that!

  15. Trur Rick, you see how age makes you look at things....my 1641 cost me £650 from Volkspares,,,but it was 12 years ago now I come to think of it !! So, okay then, £795, you could by new heads for that!!!
