WANTED Chrome lock set

Bus came without any locks so looking for a complete lock set in chrome in very good condition.

You can re-wafer your locks to fit one key if you have anything at all to work with...

 

Nope most of the locks, etc. had been removed

 

Swampys old skool lock shop are pretty awesome! I had a mish mash of keys and locks, he sorted them all to fit.

OK so does anyone have any instructions on how to fit locks

 

There's a good how to on here somewhere, I used it to sort the fifty keys to my bus lol, I bet someone will link it for you, if not I will search it tomoz as its easier on my PC

there's a guy called Dave Calton. does kits for locks. & can cut keys from photographs. Dave Calton <dave@dubkeys.com>. Just been on flea bay and there are a few handles there. some will have original barrels & some brazillian. there is also a rear door with glass in it.

P.S. If anyone has a spare lock barrel out of the handle of an early or crossover sliding door handle which they don't mind parting with I would be very interested as mine was screw drivered prior to ownership & is starting to annoy me having to open the passenger door and reach around to unlock internally. Thanks Robo, however, not what I need.

I have a full set all using one key. Now what I need (and I'm sure it probably simple but I've ever done it) is a 'how to actually fit all the handles and locks to my bus'. As I have no handles on it to replace I can't even look how they were put on.

 

I see your predicament, is your bus still at T2D? if it is then take one of theirs apart to see how yours will go back together

Google it and you sure to find some you tube clips that will give you an idea & I bet someone has an exploded view of each door handle somewhere...

So hows the bus looking? Anything new to report? Interior sorted yet? & have you picked yourself off the floor after the health check?

Ahh dont even ask about the health check. been done and I still dont know what needs doing nor how much. at the moment all i know is they cant start til august!

Pretty frustrating. I dont even want to start planning the interior until i know what everything else is going to cost grrrrrr
