I'm sure you'll be fine with diesel but you'll need a vent hole and a one way valve to possibly stop the smell from the vent ? Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
I had a plate made up for mine and hung it in the engine bay at the side of the battery. I’ll try and dig out a picture if I have one.
That would be a terrible idea. They're hard to fill up without spilling, and spilt diesel will stink the place out. Small flat tank behind the passenger seat?
I have ordered one of these from Tom booth on Facebook. Should be arriving Monday 8L tank fits snugly behind the passengers seat. Sent from my Pixel 5 using Tapatalk
I just came across these recently and wondered if they could be used outside and duct the heat in to the bus. They would make good garage heaters!
Yes they are. I use a funnel to fill the washer bottle and have to stand outside whilst doing it. Just thought i’d throw the idea out there as have seen one for sale at half the price i’ve noticed before. Think that idea has boomeranged back in my face. lol Behind the seat becomes the most likely. Wanted it behind the kick board, with heater below, just to reduce the fuel line length. That is a cheap packaging of the fuel tank, heater and control panel into a single box. Neat for a garage - but beware of the exhaust being not good to breathe - you would have to make holes for the hot exhaust to go outside, if you used one inside an awning or an enclosed garage without venting the extremely hot exhaust then carbon monoxide poisoning would be a potential hazard. As it sort of says on the description "professional installation" meaning it has to be done correctly.. Probably better to buy the pieces separately , or use that as a foundation kit of spares you can rebuild into an installation with a properly plumbed exhaust in your bus.
Stick it behind a front seat. I've bought a new tank as the tank I have at the moment I drilled the bottom. But this tank I've used a pick up pipe and gone through the top, less chance of it leaking all over the cab. Sent from my SM-G981B using Tapatalk
I still like @mikedjames suggestion a long while back of putting it beside the existing fuel tank. Maybe with a small fill pipe routed up alongside to the petrol cap, as I have a fuel flap and the engine out.
Tank arrived today, apart from the bent tab which I guess happened during postage. Well made thing, looking forward to fitting it this weekend. Sent from my Pixel 5 using Tapatalk
