Chassis Number plate?

Anyone know what this lot means (other than the chassis number of course). Lost this for a while and just found it! Where are these normally fitted on a non- bulkhead bus?

The bit at the bottom is loading total and per axle. Mine's in English.

 

Fahrgest Nummer is 'chassis'

Baujahr 'date of manufacture'
'Gesamt' is whole...so probably total kerbside weight
front 'Vorn' axle weight rear 'hinter' axle weight

 

Sure its not in American?

 

would have liked to see the date of manufacture - not stamped unfortunately!

 

No idea what Hiezg. translates as hiezen is to heat something up Heizung

 

you can figure this out from the actual vin plate M code.....to the day of the week/month should you so desire

 

That would be nice if I had one!

 

I think Prufz. probably refers to specific characteristics or 'marque' like a Golf 'SE', of Ford Escort 'Ghia'

 

I can sell you a 1976 one if you like
