As previously posted I'm switching to SVDA from the 009 that was on my bus when it had single carb. I also picked up lumenation optical stuff from Lasty who also loaned me a Bosch 021-905-205P body. My question is should my rotor and cap from the 009 fit on there or do I need some other specific parts. Its probably something I gonna save for doing at Techenders but want to have all the correct parts with me ... Thanks
As above, should fit no problem. The leads will need to move by 1 position as 009 no.1 position differs from SVDA no.1 position Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I will bring along a pile of spares and distributors to TE.. or more than the complete spare ignition system in my spares box in the bus.
Certainly true that the leads will move by 90 degrees, you might as well experiment and see if the rotor and cap will fit, as long as care is taken, no harm done.
The SVDA is still on my kitchen table with lumenition chopper etc fitted. Just looking for a suitable place to mount the control box and stocking up on the necessary rivnuts. This info ties in with what @Lasty thought. I actually try them at the weekend.
