Carpet fitting

  1. Got a carpet set from Jk a few months back, just getting round to fitting it and I've come up with a bit of a snag. Where the carpet fits over the accelerator it's seems the the slotted hole isn't big enough for the linkage. Any one got some pics so I can see how it supposed to fit before I cut it about? Cheers in advance

  2. What year is your bus? Mine has a post 76 front and it needed amending around the pedal area.

It wasn't a JK one though but the cut should be the same ish.

  3. I think that's the problem the bus is a 79. It looks like I just need to cut out a slot to the left of the one already there. Got any pics of yours?!?

  4. Give me a minute I will go and see if the original is in the shed, the bus is in the garage so is a mission to move cars etc. hold on one second :)

  10. Nice one for the photo. My carpet has that upper must slit in it but it doesn't seem to fit quite right over the accelerator linkage. Anyone else have a picture I could look at because it might just be me going mad. Wouldn't be the first time lol
