I do love a good car boot sale, although you have to get there early for decent vinyl these days, and most people seem to put any good stuff on eBay instead. I saw a life-sized plaster alien at the last one I went to, which I really really wanted, but couldn't bring myself to part with £70 for. I do slightly regret it, as he would've looked fab in the lounge.....
Never once saw a car boot, did however see the bit on a beetle that covers the engine….is it a deck lid?
Loved the bootsale when they started up again after covid. Loads of new stuff for sale for pence, from people who bought stuff, because they were at home ‘bored’, and needed to spend money, on stuff they never really needed. Got some great outdoor bargains from people who dreamt they would use it all one day, but then went back to work and never had the time. I must have bought easily over £300 worth of camping kit for just a few pounds.

That's the one! There's a couple of Ripley Rippers that hang around the house already, so I liked the idea of a different one (and I was never that fond of ET) (Allen and Allen II)
