Caps Lock Day campaigns for the removal of the caps lock button from standard QWERTY keyboards (or for the moving of the button), due to people continually accidently pressing the button when they mean to use other keys. There’s also a tendency for people to ‘shout’ (either intentionally or accidently) by using capital letters when typing, especially online, and Caps Lock Day would remove this minor annoyance.

really though, does it annoy people that much if the text is in upper or lower case? it still says the same thing in either i think those that get annoyed at upper case need to relax a little, nobody is being harmed its just a little mistake or they are unaware of computer etiquette just chill unless its an official document for legal requirements who cares ? except Horts lol ;D ;D
Now a real English day would be better, get rid of all this text speak. If you mean sorry, say sorry not soz and are you really rolling on the floor *******ing yourself laughing?
I think using proper sentence structure, with upper and lower case letters, punctuation and grammar just make reading posts so much easier.
I know I should really, but it's an annoyance I have to live with! I wasn't great at English at school, I couldn't tell you what a verb or noun are, but at least some people should look at the words and realise they are wrong! Like carnt for can't.
