I am! Despite numerous and valiant efforts to increase my drinking ability over the years, i seem to still be a lightweight

I've never been able to have an afternoon drink as i fall asleep. Wine with a nice lunch usually results in asleep by 4pm

Going back to work

When i was lecturing a nice pub lunch with a drink was the mainstay for most... i couldn't handle it so stuck to lime soda. I was told that it takes practice but it just made me sleepy and the afternoon lectures a chore

ha! i think me on speed would be too much... i'm quite energetic anyway (except at techenders; drink, sleep, repeat) and have promised folk before that I'd never take speed for that very reason

i've seen some very messy states come out of @congi's bus and i'm pretty sure the combination was to blame

I agree with @Sick Boy in that all drugs should be available on nhs prescriptions.

This would mean that addicts could afford their fix without having to mug an old lady and that the doctor could keep a close eye on them and give them clean drugs. It would also drop the bottom out of the illegal drugs market but I'm sure the drug barons would find some other way to earn their ill gotten gains.
