Can you advise me?

We supplied a full set of door cards ...just like the 100s that we make every year. The guy took them away and is having trouble fitting them. We don't supply the clips as we can't get them cheaper than they are already available. He cannot get his clips to hold in the bus (T25) but had rung and wants to bring the bus here for us to fit them. Do you think he is using rubbish clips (JK). I can't think that we have dine something wrong as the panels are the same as ever ...confused??

 

I do know that the rubber bungs come in two different sizes, it may be worth asking him if the problem is either getting the clip into the bung in the first place or if the clip won't stay in the bung after it's pushed in.

Oh, is that the sort for a T25? On mine the steel clip slots onto the door panel and the rubber bung is pushed into the holes in the doors.

I suspect the clips arent biting the panels and keep popping off, maybe an idea to try some alternative clips from somewhere else.

 

Thanks Kruger ...he is using his second hand clips so perhaps the 'shoulders' of the clips have worn and are not biting? I've suggested all this but he thinks that there is too much vinyl and foam at the back of the board preventing the clips from biting ...it's the way we always makes them though??

They are not really designed for re use and will never hold as well as they did the first time around.

Good chance some of the clips have had it, also a good chance they're not being whacked hard enough when trying to get them to bite!

Do you have another friendly T25 customer you could ask ? They might be able to offer some advice based on their own experience.

There's always one....! If it wasn't a T25, I'd have guessed @Lardy was the one complaining

 

Just tell him to buy new clips, seems stupid to buy all new cards then to try to save a few pence by reusing worn clips

 

Slightly cheesed off coz the guy still can't get his clips to work. I emailed a pic of the clips I have and the space there still is if he had clips like these, as you can see below, but he is insisting that the overlap of vinyl on the rear side in still too much. As you can see it isn't. So we've offered a full refund on an excellent set of door cards ...which were custom cut for a T25 'big' window and won't fit a normal T25 ...what a waste of time and money on our part :-(

Oh well, karma goes around I guess...

 

What colours are they?

 

Not to everyone's taste... light blue and dark blue ...lol!!

 

Oh, tricky. I'll keep my eyes peeled for blue T25's and send them your way.

 

They come in two sizes, I think I have small ones here. If so I'll bring some tomorrow.
