It was brilliant. The convoy went mental with some choosing the M3 instead of the cross country route. And yes I was on the M3. The show was ok. A bit like Brighton Breeze but with sand in your face and a beach full of sand. So big cheers to Camper and Bus.
Yep one dropped out so just 2 men 1 bus! Still a bit 969 but was ok! I spent my whole time looking around thinking "wonder who of these people have answered my questions before?" ha ha
I popped over and had a walk around yes it was a great meet with some nice vans about lets hope its going to repeat next year
At about 6pm I saw a guy on the seafront with an AA van felt pretty sorry for him because I noticed I didn't see anyone else having and problems. On the way there a bus went in front of me and spat a load of oil literally covering my van with black splats!! Other than that 10/10
It was an AA mans nightmare this weekend. There was a late bay that had suspected engine failure just 2 miles from the site. I pulled up to enquire. I think I saw it driving around the campsite in the evening so hope it was ok. When we left there was another latebay with electronic fuel pump and carb problems. Apparently it was leaking fuel into the cylinders so I heard. And then there was a T5 with someone under the bonnet and another underneath it. Add now what you have it added not bad for a little show.
I was at the campsite and Bournemouth looking out for TLB stickers but didn't find a soul. Great weekend though and loved the convoy. So great to see VW's behind and in front. I really hope they do it again.
Some more local vans parked in the free parking at Bos-Vegas end, or up the top road. Next time we might go on the seafront.
