Hi All I am trying to sort out the heating on my 1978 van and need a couple of bits, namely: 1) The spring clip that holds the three cables behind the dash. The clip I need is the 4 cable version. There are only 3 cables but for some reason the housing takes 4 cables. I am happy to have a complete 3 cable assembly with clip if that is easier. 2) The hot air pipe from the main under floor pipe to the periscope pipe inside the cab is missing so I need that plus any connectors that may be required. Hi Phil, Just to be certain - I have 3 cables going to 2 red leavers is this the same clip ? If so, I need one of those if you order 2 we could split their postage? Thats assuming there not a £6 minimum charge , I'd go back to a tie wrap then Let me know
It is probably the same clip but a different size that you require. From what I have been told there are two cable, three cable and four cable versions. All cable may not be present but the housing which the cables sit into have the appropriate number of indents. On my van I have three cables but on the housing there are four indents so I need the longest version of the clip. I have e-mailed the company ‘Have a Nice Bay’ translating my request into Dutch but as yet have not had a reply. This is my first T2 and before I bought it I assumed, because they are so popular, availability of spares would not be a problem but for some strange reason that does not seem to be the case. Phil
