Cab Door rear glass guide channel

  2. Are you sure - my 73 has a rusted one that allows the glass to drop wonky if I take it too far down- I am also looking to replace it soon.
     
  3. That would make sense as I can see anywhere to fix one in. So does the felt channel just hang loose as it were?

    If you mean the long felt channel that goes up the back edge and across the top, there is a series of clips that grip the channel and slot with little tags into holes in the door frame. I had to use the old ones off the old channel - hopefully you kept them too.

    My October 1973 build date bus had the channels in both doors.
    The replacement doors I bought new from JK in 2011 have an M6 tapped position for the fixing channel at the bottom built into the door. So it has the channels. 20200615_145807.jpg

  12. I am struggling to get it past the lock - does it need to be removed or indeed the handle?
