BusFest (nee VanFest) - Great Malvern - 7-9 Sept 2012

Discussion in 'Shows Events You've Missed unless you went' started by fat sam, Oct 29, 2011.

  1. This problem seems to have been caused by vwt2oc. They don't seem too switched on. They've been waiting for a new web site for a year. Looks like they've sat on their hands and been stitched up. Any of you members?

  2. So, let me get this right. The name Vanfest has been replaced by Busfest. Big deal. Come September, no-one will notice any change at all. It'll be the same old thing - the best and biggest VW bus festival in the world. It'll always be the one not to miss.

  3. I was under the impression it's over priced

I think it all depends on what you want from a show. It's not cheap that is true but as many have said it's the one to go to.

  5. Not now though. Lol

That's what I like about big bang and bug jam, tickets are under

  6. Knowing the background to this story from both sides rather than just reading Mr Holloway's heavily slanted take on things...

.... think I'll be giving this a miss in favour of Busjam

  7. well someone killed the Busfreeze also dead thread been rebranded as Dubfreeze guessing nobody cared lol ;D

  8. as with all these shows they end up too popular, get too big for their own boots and end up being as far removed from a classic 'VW Festival' as its possible to get. 9 times out of 10 they end up being over run by chavs and scumbags intent on letting their dogs Marmite everywhere, whilst your attention is on scraping said Marmite off your shoe someones having your wallet away or robbing your tent/van.
    :)

  9. too true look at EBI now thats a proper Vdub festival at £30 in camping for a w/e, won't see flag poles, wellies, chavs or the compulsory dog , even all that clothing tat you at the shows over here is in short demand.. roll on next year!

  10. not all shows are like that, check the list of nominations for best show of 2011 on here... lots of good value un-chavvy shows :)
