Sure there was talk of some kind of late bay display... Like the split screen alley last year... Sure I read it on here somewhere...

 

Busfest is good, but it doesn't ever seem to change that much. Go a few times and you've seen it all. And its damned expensive.

 

Sounds good to me. I've got to the stage in my life where I can no longer handle change.

vw action or vanfest?? choices

 

I went to the then Vanfest in 2001-2004 and really enjoyed it, though like baybirmingham says :

tbh if I am going to pay that sort of price for camping I expect decent toilet / shower facilities, which are obviously never going to be the case at such shows.
In the days of the inter web 'bargain' parts are everywhere, although I did enjoy meandering around the auto jumble. The main thing I enjoyed was the sight of all those buses in all shapes sizes and colours.
I'm working this year but not disappointed about not being able to go. Maybe I will go back one day...

 

They don't clash this year do they?

If I could only do one, it'd be Action. Have done both on 3 occasions, but Action tips it because its been an diff experience every time. Agree with the 'same ol' Vanfest notion - only thing that changed was the price hike... And the bands got Marmiteter

 

No, they don't clash, but VW Action is the weekend before Busfest. That can have a big effect - often people don't have the time/money to do shows on consecutive weekends.

Having realised that the diary was free for the weekend. We will be there on Saturday. We are going to stay on the c & cc site with Le Puck.

I lost interest when H&S mob moved in and it became a pre-book only show. I can't possibly tell if'd be available that far in advance.

I don't get shows that charge to take your camper to a campervan show!

What happens when no one takes there camper and all go in tents no show!!

 

Sadly I now can't make the weekend so if someone wants two adult weekend tickets and camping for a discounted price give me a shout.
