I did with Towergate Classic, it went up from £182 to £240, shopped around and went with RH Insurance for £200 including breakdown assistance

  3. Cherished are asking £297 this year and thats without an agreed valuation:mad:

Have you tried calling them to ask why? Was your bus off road last year?

  6. I do think its expensive
My bus was fully insured with them last year and i never made a claim

Ill be ringing them for an explanation later and unless they can considerably drop the price ill be going elsewhere

    All insurance companies do it.
If you ring them they'll drop the renewal quote a bit.
I'm going to leave because of their poor service rather than their prices.

  8. all ins. co."s have low 1st policy rates, and ramp it up the next year , i change every year ,as in ,change Ins.co. >not much point going on re how much i paid cos too many individual facts re same, but ,for this year ,4 me, JK really pushed the boat out , me well happy with this years policy, but then in my (sadly\opinion ,from experience, any policy can be "great" but its the claim time/ hassle when it runs into month after month in event of claim,or what is a reasonable quick settlement.

  9. Just kampers = £124

  10. Rise No.

Did my split crew cab last month and was about the same as the year before with cherished.

She even tried to get it cheaper for me when I was on the phone but to no avail.

  11. You all should be grateful. As an under 30 living in London i'm embarrassed to even say how much we have just had to pay for our policy. Any other Londoners feel like they are being bent over?

You 2 are very lucky then as the cost of insurance IS rising rapidly. Annual increases are pretty much standard practice.
With classic policies a rise of just £20 is likely to equate to 10-20%.

  14. Mine with JK went from about £190 last year to £240 this year. I just assumed it was because they cant give girlie discount anymore because apparently its sexist?

  15. Probably a feature of post code, where its parked, my age and 5k annual mileage cap
