Finally after weeks of my painter telling me he couldn't paint my van because 'insert bullMarmite here'. I asked my mate Jeff if he would paint it for me. My mate Jeff has 30 odd years in the business but nowadays he's more of a suit in the major car manufacturing world. Anyway after saying he would do it I realised he was getting a bit tetchy about it because I think he doubted his capability. Anyway, as it pans out he contact another friend of mine who just so happens to be one of the best airbrush artists there is and yesterday I went to see my van being painted (at last) only to be pushed out of the door because I'm not allowed to see it before its done as its a surprise!!! I'm going to see it later today and quite frankly I cannot wait. I'll take some photo's and post em up here to see what everyone thinks but I have a feeling its going to be awesome. Just thought I'd share that as i'm so excited.
It's getting there now. Just got to put it all back together then sort out the roof. But the paint job is AMAZING!!!! I wasn't to sure about any special effects but its really pukka and looks like nothing i've seen before. Once its out of the spray booth and all back together I will upload the pics. Promise! >
Update. Vans getting there. Fitted the windows with shiny new seals. Got new gaskets all round. Just got to prep and paint the bumpers etc. is looking good tho just lonnnnggggg
