Bunches of flowers for men

  1. Been watching the Olympics and really enjoying it especially the track cycling , but I'm a bit puzzled about the winners all getting bunches of flowers ,not just a bunch but a little posy , it doesn't look like the right thing for a big bloke to be holding , surely there must be something else they could have , like a M and S voucher for new socks

  2. Couldnt be M&S as they are not an official sponsor :)) :))

Flowers - They can always take them home and give them to wifey who they wont have seen for months as they will have been the ones too busy training ;D

  3. how about a burger

  4.
  5. Should be something typically english, either a full fry up or fish and chips!!

  6. Well I wouldn't have much use for flowers, but it might knock a bit of the sterility off the hotel rooms they are all staying in.
Plus, it wouldn't be very thoughtful to give burgers and beer to a group of people struggling to maintain 2% body fat, would it?
Besides, I'm sure a lot of men might find flowers fabulous, while many of those women might prefer a coupon for a mustache wax.
Since the entire world isn't operating under just two simple gender stereotypes, I suppose it is best to just stick with tradition.

I'll be the first to say it. I love to receive flowers. The bunches they give with the medalists will have such a nice smell. I just hope they aren't hayfever sufferers :)

  8. I've been trying to work out what they are
I thought they might be based on traditional gb flowers ( hang on i'm googling)

    oooh look what i found

    The bouquets

The victory bouquet has been designed by Jane Packer, an internationally renowned UK florist. The bouquet represents the vibrancy of the Games and the four sections hold a different variety of the rose, an iconic British flower. Each section is also divided with traditional herbs – mint, rosemary, English lavender and wheat. These British-grown ingredients are designed to provide an unusually eclectic fragrant mix.
