I was wondering if this was a stupid question, but i am going to ask anyway.

I am fitting adjusters to the front of my bus, and already have adjustable spring plates on the rear. I have cut the bump stops down two ribs on the back, and the fronts i presume will need removing.

Questions is, can I relocate these bump stops at all or is the new bump stop the arch and tyre combo? And, will a shock absorber not act as a bump stop if it bottoms out, or is that just going to break it?

Humor me please, i am young.

Yep, whatever becomes solid 1st is the new bump stop, will it break anything? Who knows? If it ain't rubbin it ain't ...... Wait that's silly, how about "if it ain't got bump stops it ought to fail an mot" crap rhyme I know but how come my landy failed for none?

  3. yes stops your wheels bottoming out on the arches ,front ones are optional ...:hattip:

if you susspention failed this would be the last call before rubbing and stopping ,the shock would be much of a deterent..
