    Like Carillion, these big firms are gamblers on a large scale and they carry out big projects and do provide a lot of jobs. But when the gamble goes sour, the directors clear off with their fat wallets and leave everyone else out of pocket. If they can get government (our) money instead of borrowing, even better for them.
