Last night I broke one of my toes ... today is swollen and purple / black ... It hurts ... I thought I would share this news with you all ... Possibly a photo to follow
I stubbed mine on the stairs when I was about 12. My mother sent me off to school anyway. lol By the time PE came round it was black - the whole big black toe. Life were hard in those days so I still had to do PE as no note from Ma. No arguing or threatening teachers when I was a lad. It clicks now if I walk in bare feet - think I must have broken the joint rather than the bone if you see what I mean. Pics please.
The joys of a broken toe, companion strapping if you're lucky and a bit of hobbling; lots of hobbling if you can't Just don't try to squeeze your foot into a normal width shoe
I broke 3 toes getting out of the bath to answer the phone, slipping and wedging them between the ballustrading on the landing. I feel your pain my friend.
I broke one at Christmas bringing the dinner out. Went a very horrible colour purple/black and was very sore for about 2-3 months.
Did the same last week larking about on the river with Lost en France. I'm finding sandals best as I can use the strap to keeps toes together!
looks a bit like a zombies toe .... damn thing ... i stupidly fell off the step whilst putting the rubbish out and basically kicked the wall bare footed
