  1. Mine has fell apart what can I stick the filter back to the metal bits with,
Many thanks in anticipation of loads of replies,
    Steve,

Is this the type with two parallel stainless plates and clips holding the filter sandwiched between them?

If it is it is meant to be held together by clips and the filter element is not meant to be stuck to it.

If you have this type of filter on a single central carburettor, welcome to the world of the Flat Spot and the Ice Cold Riser.

  4. I have a pancake filter somewhere in my garage, only used it for a few months. You're welcome to it.

  5. Sorry it's a round pancake one on one of my 34 webers, I have my oil breather pipe going into the top of it and the pressure has pulled it apart, good idea about the clips I have some on an old filter that was on my old twin choke weber, I will hunt them,

Thanks for the offer, but found clips on old filter. And they work a treat.,
And thanks to mikedjames, I got fed up with an iced up carb that's why I got twin 34s nearer the engine so they stay warm and no icing,
    Steve
