  2. Yep! we'll probably be going in the Beetle.
@Mrs Top Banana Racing was highly disappointed last year because I "forgot" to mention that you can dress up your vehicle, god knows what will happen to the poor car this year.

Might come along to this as I've missed the last few.
I won't have a problem keeping up this time either!

  4. Last year was good fun, although get there early! cos I was near the back for the start of the cruise, and it took almost an hour just to get from washingpool farm to the cribbs rab.

  5. Thanks for posting this - Afraid I've been a bit late this year, but yes, it's that time of year again!

This year, Bristol Christmas Cruise / Santa Cruise will be on Sunday December 1st.

As usual, there will be loads to do, and all proceeds will go to charity. Last year, we raised £2500 which was split between our chosen charities.

    Schedule for this year -

    * Gates open at Washingpool farm from 11am, with free teas, coffee and mince pies available.

    * CRUISE LEAVES APPROX 12.15pm. Route TBC

    * Cruise arrives Fry's Club Bristol 1.00pm. We're sorry, but NO dogs are allowed at Fry's club - this is beyond our control.

*Autojumble, bouncy castle, raffle, kids activity table, hot food and bar.

    * Cost is £5 per vehicle – which gives entry to the show-site. Please pay on arrival.

    * Free autojumble/parts sales for private sellers - please email info@santa-cruz.co in advance

400 varied goody-bags - these will include cruise route directions. The route will be posted on the website soon.

    * Some trade pitches available - please contact info@santa-cruz.co - donations to charity are asked for from traders.

    * As usual, there'll be prizes awarded to the furthest travelled and best dressed vehicles, and also for the best Christmas jumper.

So, you can catch up with your mates, do some Christmas shopping, have a great time on the cruise - and know that you're doing something really good raising money for 2 great causes - Prospects Prostate Cancer Support group ( http://www.prostatecancerbristol.org.uk/index.php/home )and Hammer Out Brain Tumours (http://www.hammerout.co.uk/)

More info will be posted both here and on facebook as and when it happens.

As usual, ALL interesting cars welcome, especially when the cars are decorated :) )

  8. Hi we're coming from Gloucester but we're crummy on timekeeping and old V doesn't like to be above 50 mph so we won't hold you back. However give us toot if you over take us on route.

  12. Bugger the same day as Slough and TLB drinks in Croydon the night before.

  13. Now I know
    :)

  14. Let me know the arrangements for Sunday please and, if we can get ourselves together on time, we'll slip in behind you - although it sounds like some of you might be a bit speedier than us.

  15. Sounds like a good plan

This you?? I think we flew past you and into the services on the way home, missus needed a wee real badly haha..

  17. Sure is. Saw you flying into the services and assumed you needed fuel. Your van can certainly move.:)

  18. Haha.. I think its magical. It only flies when it wants to.. I cant wait to get the twin carbs on her.. We were trying to catch you for a while to convoy with you back to Cheltenham. But then realised we were low on juice and needed a wee stop..

  19. I've thought about twin carbs but I thought they just helped acceleration and not the top speed?

As you're so close we'll have to arrange to meet up sometime and compare VW notes.
