hey guys, i was wondering if anyone bristol based would be able to give me a hand with sticking my new engine in sometime soon? rewards of monies/beer/shiney trinkets offered!!
either or both would be great to be honest mate, i know the gist of how to do it, and will be helping my boss swap one at work next week so i cant learn exactly what im doing, (just started working at a dub restoration place just outside bristol, i love my job!) but i aint the most hench guy in the world.. he said i could do it at work, but thats gunna cost more than i can afford, and thats at half normal price!! as buying the engine itself to get me back on the road has left me pretty skint (got 50 quid to last me the month!!) and it was only payday yesterday so i wanna do it myself so i can get back on the road quicker like.
I can give you a hand mate; done it a few times but only ever as labour, not the brains of the operation! Where are you working and where are you going to do the work?
that would be great man! like i said, you would be rewarded for your kindness im working at Vdub Resto in rangeworthy, and would probably be doing the work over a weekend in the carpark up there, as i currently have no tax. my new engine wont be here til mid next week, and my bus shortly after hopefully. and if i ask nicely i may be able to borrow the ramp (if theres ever a few hours it isnt busy!) but my numbers 07709582390 if you would be able to help me out, feel free to chuck me a message when your free like. would be great to meet some camper people in bristol too!! havent lived here long..
Ha ha ha, surely Mark will lend you his ramp, he lent it to me to service my bus and I don't work there! I know the place well, Mark did the welding and paint on my bus...
haha everyone seems to know mark! yeah he said i could do it at work, and hes letting me take up a space in his already overfilled carpark so i can sort it out1 hes a top bloke
