I don't have them and he's not Internet savvy but I've seen the pile and looked at a few, which is why I know its not an early.
It's a bay window van that's had it's front panel cut off and replaced with a special fibreglass split screen pale designed to fit the wider front of the bay window van. It is designed to make a bay look like a split because splits are kewl and bays are not. Apparently. In reality it looks awful.
I had a awful feeling that it would be something like that......... Although I have this strange urge to print that yellow hybrid off, frame it and hang it in my living room.............. NOT . I suppose taste is a matter of opinion. We overtook one of those Diahatsu vans made to look like a Splitscreen today. Not sure if I felt blessed or that they were taking the ******* lol
Ill be honest in saying I quite like the look of it, from memory (bearing in mind it was 2011), the conversion was very well done and looked like it fitted as it should. That said, I wouldn't want any of ours looking like a split, splitties are splitties, not bays!! Them Subaru Sambar things, jeez they are indeed hideous
