Brazilian bay floor fitment

  1. Hi, tried searching but couldn't find anything...
How bad is the brazilian floor compared to say Schofields floor. Talking about a LHD van here, so no throttle linkage cross the floor.

Same question really goes for the cargo floor also.

Worth the 100 or so quid saving, considering my bus is never going to be an original and has water in the engine :)
    Thanks for the help!

Are you replacing the whole floor or just repairing a section of it? I ended up using Schofield's Left and Right repair panels as the centre of the floor was in good condition.

From experience of fitting Brazilian arches to original cab floors, the floor bend is in a different place and they were fitted higher up.
Could be you end up with a battered floor making it fit.

The cargo floors, if genuine VW fit really well, we fitted a pair to our LHD '73.

The only area we needed to fettle was around the back edge where the sloping panel meets the floor pan, nothing major from memory just a bit of forming
