  2. Does the spring make the pedal any better? My spring is broken (as everyone's is, apparently!) but I can't see how replacing it would be of any benefit...

  3. Mine’s been broken since I don’t know when, doesn’t seem to be a problem . However I have seen a comment reporting that having constant pressure on the servo isn’t good.

    Yes alot of difference
My peddle had dropped to the floor.
As I had no master cylinder fitted but I replaced the spring and now the leaver is right up against the stop and that's without any fluid in the system.

  5. It maintains clearance between the pushrod and master cylinder, no clearance can cause the brakes to bind and restrict the master cylinder refiling from the reservoir.

  6. Apologies for using an old thread, but am having trouble fitting the new spring. Where does the tang on the inboard side of the spring fit? Iblaze's picture shows the outboard tang on the footbrake lever but I cannot see where the other end goes. Should there be a hole in the chassis that it slots into? Any advice much appreciated.
