1. Fuse 2. Switch on master cylinder 3. Bulbs My money would be on 2 but 1 is dead easy to check. Stirlingmoz
once had both bulbs gone, because it was both automatically thought it couldn't be the bulbs i would check them first then the fuse
On the 79 it's fuse no 8. There's a dual circuit brake switch so either side of the system will operate the lights. Earlies used fuse 6 and have a single circuit switch.
If they're new light units ...all the connectors as they're Marmite...the tangs don't hit the bulb in the right place.... Sometimes.. And the earth connection.. Ours had snapped off , almost, sometimes earthed sometimes didn't... Love an intermittent fault!
