Brake hoses for 77 bay

Discussion in 'Mech Tech' started by SeanOC, Apr 19, 2019.

  1. Changing the hoses to Goodridge SS ones and I have found that the front ones are about an inch shorter. Will it be okay to still use them?

Sorry about the dodgy picture but it’s hard to take a picture and hold something flat on your own!

stick them on and see if the steering can go lock to lock without stretching the hose or kinking it, I think its fine

Its probably now exactly correct length, as that Goodridge hose is not cheap.

  5. Done and fine as you say.
Main issue is that the brake lines might be a bit short as the ones that came off had longer connectors on them.
I’ll find out when I bleed the brakes I guess
