Brake fluid?

Is synthetic based dot 4 brake fluid ok for 75 late bay?

I am pretty sure you can
It can be a problem if you mix silicon brake fluid and synthetic

 

I use it in my 76 Bay.
No problems.

 

DOT 4 or 5.1 which are glycol-based are fine but not DOT 5 which is silicone-based.

New silicone was a no no just checking it meets the standards mentioned in Bentley manual.
