Brake bias valve fitting direction

Putting some brakes back on the van this weekend but have been stumped with the brake bias valve fitting direction - bolted to the inner chassis behind the beam and close to the cross member.

I've forgot to get a pic but its a late 72, late bay and the bias valve has got no obvious markings for what inlet/outlet goes to the rear brakes. there's a VW stamp on one side and few numbers elsewhere but no directional arrows which I would half expect.

The valve can be bolted onto the chassis either way round, I just don't want to have to fit it and bleed the brakes twice if I can help it.

    Anyone?

    Thanks,

Mine is identical, and has the VW stamp on the right, I'm going to assume the one pictured is piped the same way as a bay, as thats a T25?, in that the right outlet goes off to the rear brakes.

    edit...see post below.

Was close, just difficult to tell what direction the front of the van is from the T25 pic, unless you know your T25s!

Feels like I've conceded defeat - I've just read what the Bentley manual has to say!

Its bloody handy that manual! ;)

So for reference for anyone else who needs it:
