Bought my first Beetle today

It's been dry stored for 20 years so not too horrendous, cheap as chips but he wants first refusal on it when it's finished

 

First refusal ?
Tell him to do one, just wants you to do it up cheap for him.

 

Or he just wants to be the first one to refuse to pay what I'll be asking

ps bought a oil bath there a view things missing you got any spare parts for a 1600 type oil bath

 

Go for the California look

 

That's as dull as lowering a prototype bay.

 

There's the original 1300 in bits with it but I've got a spare 1600 with a ratchet strap starter system
No oil bath spares sorry

Thinking more this kind of thing,

 

The body is already unbolted so yes, some pan work already done, and I'm serious about wanting to do some form of motor sport with it, we'll see!
