Booking a camping site

Getting fed up now I ring up to book a camping holiday to take my little girl away ..and they ask is it a tent no ..is it a caravan no ..ist it a motorhome no...It's a bay window camper van they then say no not aloud... how the hell do you go on holiday then ..

My parents have had the same problems from time to time and most the time it’s because they don’t know what it is so now they just say it’s a vw t5 and then it seems to be fine

If it was just me and the miss we would wild camp but have are little girl

 

I remember you telling me about your daughter Steve, I love that part of the country. Sutton on Sea is my favourite and I've heard good reviews about this place if it helps. Cheers Paul

Never had an issue..... the sites often want you parked in a visible spot to make the site appear "cool" .

 

I take it that the bus if finished and now there are 2 in the area, I'm no longer the only bay in the village

You should bring it up to the Bluebell classic car and bike night, the last one this year is Weds the 5th of Sept

 

Tell them its small 'motor caravan' as stated on your V5 reg doc, unless its a converted panel van. Only ever had one booking problem when I tried to book in myself and friend into the same site and was told we do not take group bookings! Gave them a carp review on a few sites.

 

Thought we were a group of youngsters out on a bender, until I politely said we are nearly middle aged ladies who wear sensible shoes, drink like navvies and pogo to loud punk music all night long.

Try Waxham Sands, Waxham Norfolk, about 5 miles North of Great Yarmouth. I've been there loads, great beach, no amusements or clubhouse, but the kids always love the freedom of it

 

I have been told it's a cracking night.
Couldn't make last week so will definitely put the 5th on the calendar.
If I spot your van I will pop over and say hello
