the camper won't start so that i can get it to the garage for a completely unrelated problem and today i thought i'd do some gardening. a little less stressful than vw's. or so i thought.... can't get the mower to start!! :arrggh: it has fuel, have checked and blown in the spark plug
daren't go near the bus with a hammer after the week i've had. there's only one thing for it, call dad and see if he can visit next weekend! ;D
did the only thing i know how to do; turn it off, douse in wd40 and put it back in the shed. may have to try it with the bus
Put the spark plug attached to the lead on a clean metal piece of the lawn mower ,pull the starter and see if the plug sparks... If it does not the plug will need changing...
i gave up with petrol mowers after 6 months, :- spent more time startin it than cuttin the lawn, bought a hover job done lasts 15 yrs, with ,no maintenance, petrol, grief
specialist tool > your lump hammer ! if still not working after 3 whacks , place any finger on workpiece and whack a 4th time< retire to house , spend day on couch , watching re runs of whatever takes yer fancy, whilst drinking copious amounts of ""medicine"! >job done!
