    Hi do you still have the starter motor? One on my bus is turning but not engaging with flywheel, could be too short a spindle??? or just not throwing out????

    Hi, sorry just seen your post!! Bus is a R reg 77, turns out 2nd hand starter was a beetle one so too short, bought a new starter from auction website, now need accelerator cable, new one is too short!!!!!! and coil.
