Best show/festival this year

Its coming to the end of the show calender, almost.
So was wandering what was your best event this year.
I ll start off mine was Volkspower at Redcar, been a few times now and it seems to improve with age.
Great venue, 5 mins from beach/sea, great bands/music really friendly and you can take your own booze, even into the Music tents
Getting bigger each year with more traders.
And you dont get ripped off.

Dent Beer and Music Festival

 

Alive and dubbin

 

Sweetcorn coz it was laid back and the first time we stayed at a show and put Kermit into the show n shine

Grill n chill for the company and 'discovering' Tom Dibb.

Was I allowed two ?

 

I'll go along with that, but neither were shows or festivals...

 

Glastonbury, without a doubt.

 

Have to agree with @Hull tiger about Volkspower, but also enjoyed Field of Dreams in York.

It was its first year for the show and was a promising start, plus I won an award so slightly basis lol.

Have to say we enjoyed camperjam this year, think we will try volkspower next year as well. Not too far from us... )

 

Dubsatthecastle - great show for us, dont know if many of you latebayers go but well worth the effort !

 

European bug in for me!! Amazing show

 

Only been to one VW show this year - Skegvegas. It was pretty good - reasonable price, not too huge, but enough to keep you entertained.
Non VW - went to our second WOMAD this year - ace!

 

Tricky one this ! Dent music was realy good but the beer was a bit s..t , Skegvagas Was brilliant mostly due to the most excellent latebayers , but robbed in the
BMX show and shine , that still stings. and then there is the curved ball , the dubs int dales end of summer camp , beautiful location excellent company
Loads to do day and night . Hard to chose a favorite.





Oh go on then" Paley fest "

 

Green Man was fantastic. Music, food, weather, scenery, people all ace
