yes it does.....australian or new then - or properly documented resto's all within your budget mate. www.gdaykombis.co.uk is a good place to start.
i agree, i did the same by importing myself, it's just giving the guy an idea that's all, i wouldn't go down the Danbury route or spend 20k but each to their own.........
With your money you could by a rust free left hooker and convert it to rhd. Might be worth getting a quote.. http://www.volkszone.com/VZi/showthread.php?t=504377&page=3 In fact youve probably got enough money to get a good import and a complete resto including the RHD conversion. Have the bus the way you want it! Cheers s

Can I ask why you want a water cooled bus? The reason so many of these air cooled buses and cars are still running happily is that VW knew what they were doing. I drove mine non stop from Portsmouth to Essex round the wonderful M25 in stop start traffic 2 days ago and she didn't miss a beat! Stick to air cooled
Try:- http://www.fbivw.com/ I know Graham he is straight & honest, expensive but won't rip you off, best of all he just up the road from me & I can check out any bus you may be interested in that he has.
There is no place to buy a tidy bus its called research and legwork! Have you seen my common sense guide to buying a van? Do not buy a second hand 'new' Danbury!!!! I have too many horror stories about them and the way they are erm built( thrown together) if you must have a new bus impor your own and convert yourself- they all rust even the new ones- get a t4!!
