Beryl Green under which white?

  1. Hi everyone,

The time has almost come to paint the bus, and I've bottomed my colour choice out to Beryl Green on the bottom half, but need to finalise the white on top.

I was going to go down the pastel white, as it's a 73/74 bus, but I'm worried the cream/yellow tinge will muddy the green. So now thinking a brighter white, something like Cloud or Lotus. I've found this bus on the 'net which I like the colours of, but wondered if anyone else has any pics of different combos involving Beryl?

    Thanks!

This is Lotus over Beryl (from http://www.clarathecamper.co.uk/about-clara/):

  3. My bus is Beryl Green / Pastel White (L90D) - according to the scribbles on the back of a piece of paper that came with it. It is quite a creamy white in sunlight, under artificial light it is whiter.

  5. I
I know what Pearl White looks like.............I paid a lot of ££ to have my top half painted in it.
A word of advice, you cant trust paint charts........I had my painter supply me with a sample of the actual colour he was spraying, before I was happy.
Colour photos don't accurately depict the true colour, it all depends on the sunlight.
My 'Mouse Grey' looks anything from grey in my avatar above, to brown in the sunlight.

  6. I know you do, but Adam suggested he wanted a brighter white than Pastel, which I'm sure you'll agree pearl is not. Agree on paint charts tho.

  7. Thanks for your thoughts everyone! I'll let you know the final outcome!

  8. I went to school with Beryl Green
