Hi, anyone got a 091 bell housing and input shaft lying around for sale? (See 'gearbox trouble' thread in tech mech )
Blimey, £100.. I had no idea this stuff was worth so much money.. I'm doing a subaru conversion and thought I'd be stuck with the original 091 bellhousing.. Not going to be weighing it in now lol
091 boxes seem to be the box everybody wants, as a whole box, £600 plus is common, so i thought a sixth of the price for a large lump was about right.Happy to be proved wrong.If you don´t need your bell housing why not offer it to happycamper?
You are right, complete 091 boxes do fetch silly money. I was lucky to get mine for £300. My original comment wasn't trying to prove you wrong, I'm very happy to know that at sometime in the future it may well be worth a lot of money. As for offering it to Happycamper, he is after one with the shaft included.. Mines a bare shell. Good luck with the sale
