my westy seat wont open out to a bed. it stays at 90 degrees no matter what. this is going to make sleeping a rather uncomfortable experience. thankfully i don't need it atm but i will at some point and would like to sleep mostly horizontally. anyone who can offer advice or better still, come to bingley and make it work?
I assume you have used it before. On mine you either picked the seat base up and pulled it out or if locked into the seat position you hade to lift it up to the 90 degree position ie with the backrest level with the rear cushion then carry on pushing the seat base till it clicked then just let it come back towards you into the bed position.
Used it lots of times but this is the only time I've had problems. Will try again tomorrow , maybe I've lost the knack (use it or lose it?) . Or it's broked
My existing ones are similar to westy ones and stick sometimes. What i have to do is pushe the top of the backrest back sharply and they ping and work!
yup. when my brother first moved here i couldn't remember the name without singing the old "bradford and bingley" tune
that's why i come here. and to see my family too, of course though went for lunch in grassington yesterday and they didn't accept card payments i felt like a proper city type in my incredulity
