It doesn't look like it will fit the brackets on a Westy

 

Its a roof one, not a cab one.

If you are looking for a cab bunk, be aware there are (I think) 3 different lengths. The aftermarket ones are generally extendable so not an issue - but fixed poles need to be correct

 

Devon bunk ? Looking for the brackets don't suppose you or whoever gave canvas have them ? Tia

I do have a cab one in the shed, with the little brackets that you screw onto the pillars, too, very expensive now, apparently…

 

The original ones are extendable. That’s the one I have knocking about.

 

Is that a fact? We got a JK or similar one which is extendable, I did however see one or 2 for sale a while back which were fixed length, and looked old so I assumed OE, but perhaps another aftermarket jobbie from time ago

 

Possibly. What were the bars like on the one you saw? The ones I have here are like a folded galvanised steel, with last two foot slides in and out of for adjustment.

 

The 73 Westy one I had was fixed but sounds like Soggzies otherwise - folded galvanised, surprisingly strong and light.

 

I believe they were round poles, with the folded ends. My JK one has square section bar - it was some time back now so could be wrong
