i was thinking of my mate Baydreams and wondered what sort of dreams we all have for our bays if money was no object . Me i would have a top notch spray job , employ someone to tidy up the niggles and clear off for a year on a European road trip . what would you do/to / with your van ?
Syncro it, and a heavily modified engine and nice paint, but it would have to be a money no object kinda deal as it would involve me working at it full time and having a spare bay to use whilst doing it, as well as moving house to place with a garage (with a pit)
Nothing. He's just how I wanted him. Until that is I come up with another project to keep me busy. But I suppose a respray, new stripes, recovering the Porsche seats and new laminate on the units would be a pleasant add-on
I'm very happy as is. Being able to drop a big wedge into it takes all the fun out. They're all 'work in progress' vehicles surely?
I like it how it is pretty much - if I could buy reliability, that would be nice. I think I'd maybe add a bit more power but I'd stay air cooled. A few months in Europe too
Hugh Jackman dressed as Wolverine to drive it ??????? I would just love to be able to pay to get it sorted , sort out the rusty bits, a respray, internal bits and bobs amd take the kidlets on a tour well anywhere really................
The underneath of mine is solid now thankfully, but she looks a little scruffy with some rusty bits on both cab doors, around some of the windows, both two front wheel arches etc. If money was no object, I would like to have her body panels sorted and a lush candy apple red paint job and all her window seals and poptop roof seals replaced. Then I'd like to go on tour around Cornwall.
I'm laughing at the replies to the original post , typically ,no "big deals" no massive bling ups , just a little bit of this and a little bit of that>brilliant !
