Bay Roll Over Jig Dimension Required

Discussion in 'Mech Tech' started by motorcycleemptyness, Nov 22, 2012.

  1. Hi , I am in the process of building a Roll over Jig for my 73 Bay and wondered if anybody knows the dimension from the floor to the rotation point , to enable the centre of gravity to be correct for an easy and safe roll over ?

  2. Sorry don't have a dimension for you. But if your making it, do it so the z axis is adjustable, that way you can fine tune it a bit. As a start there's a guy on eBay selling one. I'll try and find a pic that shows where he's put the pivot point.

  3. Here you go.

Between the headlights looks ok, even though its a split there won't be much difference.

  4. To make it adjustable you could incorporate a short acrow prop.

Haveacamper was either selling or renting one out at one time, maybe he could help you out with some dimensions?
