Fancy something a little different ? Enjoy History ? Enjoy a good loud bang (for the men) ? Like to see a man in uniform (for the ladies) ? This event is the biggest reenactment event for the Napoleonic era in the UK. There will be a battle each day, with Cavalry and Artillery, with the Redcoats led by the Prince Regent (Hurrah) and the French led by Napoleon (make a spitting noise !). Displays and demonstrations and a chance for the children to join with the drill sessions and be a redcoat. I will be going both days as Master Lofty's Driver and Batman as he is a member of the 44th East Essex, one of the Regiments in attendance. Have a look at the website for more info. Entrance is cheap (£1 per person for walk in £3 for parking but i'm not sure if this includes entry) with all profits going to Help the Heroes and Air Ambulance.
