Battery

Hello,

Got a 79 2l bay. Been looking to get a new battery for a bit and finally got one today (Bosch S4 063) but when I went to pick up the van noticed the one in there is a Halfords 096.

I did a bit of reading before buying and read 063 was the one, is it just that PO bought a battery too big for the bus? I don’t run anything extra off it, just for starting really.

If the terminals are in the right place, not an issue.

 

063 will be fine. I think that's the same battery as I'm running, 4 years old and still good.

 

For a while I used to use oldish 65AH batteries off our diesel Peugeots in place of the 41AH recommended size. if it fits, use it.
