Hi all, anybody got a photo of the offside battery tray to the wheel arch as mine had rotted away both tray and arch, the offside has recesses in the arch so need to see how it goes together, thanks
ok, here is my experience of same ,if poss ? drive to parts suppliers ,explain same ,request examples of batt. trays , take to vehicle and see if weld fit looks poss, if yes ,buy. if unsure ,buy all poss. trays and ,once got appropriate one ,return rest to suppliers for refund less postage and handling charge ,expensive i know but a bus owner has to do what a bus owner has to do, i do this with monotinous regularity , failing that ,perhaps someone will come up with the photo you requested ,best wishes.
Thanks paradox for photo does the back of the wheel arch protrude lower than the tray or does it butt up to the top of tray as the arch has a recess in it?
Take a look at Womballs resto thread, you will definitely find all you need to know in there.. Should find the stuff you need somewhere in the region of here... http://thelatebay.com/index.php?threads/womballs-74-project-daisy.19502/page-6 (and to be honest, if you need help with other similar questions, this thread certainly wouldnt be a bad place to start for your answers!)
Thanks for info now looked at womballs thread and its shows the rear panel lower than the top of the chassis leg so at least I can now make that repair panel up before I fit the tray I was just wondering what closed the tray off at the top where it fits against the recesses.
